Compact Wide to Portrait-Length Zoom. The Tamron 35-150mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD for Canon is a dedicated portrait lens that gives you a range of compositional options. Its bright maximum aperture that gives you great depth-of-field control for isolating subjects and solid performance in available light. Using an APS-C camera? You’ll get a 56-240mm focal length.
Advanced Optical Design. This lens’s fourteen-group/nineteen-element optical formula features three low-dispersion elements and three hybrid aspherical elements, which give you sharp, high-contrast images across the image plane. The elements all have Tamron’s Broad-Band Anti-Reflection coating to combat reflection, flares, and ghosting, while the front element’s fluorine coating makes fingerprints, moisture, and debris easy to wipe clean.
Built-In Vibration Compensation. The Vibration Compensation image-stabilization system minimizes the appearance of camera shake when you’re shooting hand-held in low light.
Optimized Silent Drive Autofocus. This lens autofocuses accurately, quickly, and silently, so you’re always sure to get your shot. The non-rotating front element allows uninhibited filter use.
