The Westcott FJ400 II 400Ws Touchscreen Strobe w/ FJ Pro Battery is a powerful monolight capable of up to 550 full-power flashes. This is the updated model of the FJ400. Key features include:
Compact Monolight Powerhouse. This Westcott FJ400 II 400Ws Touchscreen Strobe w/ FJ Pro Battery a stunning 30W bi-color LED modeling light and an 400W strobe with a rapid 0.01-0.9 sec recycling time. A great addition to any studio or production, the FJ800 also boasts a 9-stop power range in 0.1 and 1.0 increments, a 1/24,000 peak action-stopping flash duration in Freeze mode, high-speed sync support up to 1/8000 second, as well as front and rear curtain sync.
Modes and More. In addition to the typical manual and TTL flash modes, the FJ400 II also features Creative Mask Mode. Creative Mask Mode is a great option during high-volume and fast-paced shoots, and allows you to create up to six lighting combinations without having to move any fixtures. With the integrated OLED display touchscreen, you have access to intuitive and easy-to-learn controls that expand your lighting opportunities.
Wireless and Compatibility. The FJ400 II has an integrated 31-channel, 16-group, 2.4 GHz wireless radio frequency with a range of 328 feet. Part of Westcott’s 2.4 GHz FJ wireless system, this monolight is backwards compatible with all FJ triggers and flashes to create a unified lighting arrangement.
Power in a Flash. This entire operation is fueled by a single included Westcott FJ Pro Battery. A full charge grants you up to 250 full-power flashes and thousands of low-power flashes, and recharges in just 1.5 hours.
Mounting and Included Accessories. Like previous FJ models, the FJ400 II sports the tried and true Bowens S mount and 5/8" tilting bracket for lightstand mounting. This rental also provides you with a magnetic 5.5-inch reflector, and five-piece gel set, and a carry case.
Please Note! This strobe has received updates as of 2025, but still retains the same capabilities and produces the same results as the first rollouts of the FJ400 II. With this rental, you may receive the 2025 version of the FJ400 II, which is only set apart by the inclusion of a “group indicator light”.
