The Zeiss Compact Zoom CZ.2 70-200mm T2.9 (F) is a high-quality telephoto zoom for use with Nikon F-mount cameras and camcorders. Key features include:
Full-frame 4K support
High-quality cine build with geared focus and zoom rings
Two opposing focus scales
Eleven-blade aperture diaphragm
Nikon F Mount. This is the Nikon F-mount version of the CZ.2 70-200mm. We also carry this lens in the Canon EF, Sony E, and PL mounts.
Full-Frame 4K. The CZ.2 70-200mm provides a telephoto zoom range that covers 35mm full-frame sensors. It also supports 4K resolutions, making it fully compatible with current technology.
Cine Build. Compared to other cine zoom lenses, the CZ.2 70-200mm is relatively compact. The cine-style housing with geared focus and zoom rings enable smooth adjustments with a follow focus, and its parfocal lens design ensures your focus point doesn’t shift during zooming. The lens has a five-foot minimum focusing distance, and the lens barrel offers two opposing focus scales.
Lens Support Included. While it’s compact compared to its peers, the CZ.2 70-200mm is still relatively large at 6.2 lbs. and nearly 10 in. long. With that said, we include a Wooden Camera 15mm Universal Lens Support to help support the lens’s weight when using a shoulder mount (not included) or other 15mm rail system.
