Groundbreaking Display. With extreme brightness, precise contrast, and vibrant HDR, the iPad Pro (M5) offers peak visual performance. It is equipped with dual OLED panels for high brightness and better color accuracy. ProMotion offers an adaptive 10-120Hz refresh rate, which means the refresh rate is perfectly matched to a video’s frame rate to reduce lag. For a natural viewing experience that reduces eye strain, True Tone will match the display to your environment so that colors look more accurate in varied lighting conditions. While not recommended for careful image editing, this is a great feature for evening browsing.

Imaging Features. The iPad Pro (M5) is equipped with front and rear-facing 12MP f/1.8 ultra-wide cameras. They are not particularly notable in quality and suffice for capturing documents or for FaceTime. ProRes 4K video is possible with Final Cut Pro or third-party apps. Machine learning aims to keep you in the center of the frame during video calls and will have the camera zoom and pan automatically as you move around. This is compatible with not only FaceTime but with Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams. An integrated LiDAR Scanner enables 3D scanning for CAD projects or editing in SketchUp. The cameras are useful for a lot of things but high-quality pictures, especially in low light, is not one of them.

Making Connections. Connect 6K displays or 40gbps storage drives to the iPad Pro for video editing and more thanks to the high transfer power of Thunderbolt 3/USB 4. With a standard USB-C connection type, the iPad Pro will be easy to pair with many peripherals. Speaking of connections, this model is capable of both Wi-Fi 7 and 5G LTE cellular connectivity, plus low-latency Bluetooth 6.
