The Aputure STORM 80c BLAIR-CG LED Monolight is a compact, full-spectrum studio light designed with an innovative BLAIR-CG chipset, advanced dimming technology, and more. Key features include:

Blue, lime, amber, indigo, yellow, and red LEDs
1800 to 20,000K CCT range
Mini ProLock Bowens mount
Linear, exponential, logarithmic, and S-shaped dimming curves

BLAIR Chip Project. Innovation meets power with the workhorse that is the Aputure STORM 80c BLAIR-CG LED Monolight. Sporting an Aputure-developed BLAIR-CG chipset, this studio light features blue, lime, amber, indigo, yellow, and red LEDs. This groundbreaking chipset helps boost color accuracy and brightness levels, and offers a full CCT range of 1800 to 20,000K, multicolor diodes for improved color-matching, and 100% + / – green control. Additionally, the STORM scores a 97+ rating for CRI/TCLI standards and a 88 SSI (Tungsten) rating at 3200 and 5600K color temperatures.

STORM Accessories. Easily control or soften your light output with our separately available Mini ProLock mount STORM accessories! The 11.8-inch Aputure Lantern 30 features a hook-and-loop skirt that enables easy output control, while the 15.7-inch Aputure Light Dome 40 creates a softened cast of light with its included 1- and 2-stop diffusers and grid. While these are designed only for the STORM 80c, we do have the Mini ProLock to Bowens Mount Adapter to bridge compatibility with Aputure’s long line of Bowens mount accessories!

Advanced Dimming, Control, & Functionality. This monolight is capable of both wired and wireless control protocols, including DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net, and sACN Ethernet, and app control via Bluetooth and the Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro apps. While this rental will not include a controller, you can grab the separately available Sidus Four 4-Universe CRMX Transmitter. Featuring stepless dimming from .1 to 100%, this LED produces flicker-free and color-accurate operation even at the STORM’s lowest output.

Outlast the STORM. With a IP65 rating, this LED resists dust and weather conditions to push through even the most demanding set environments. Its particular Mini Bowens ProLock mount only accepts very specific accessories, like this lantern.

Does this rental include a DMX controller?

No, but the 80c can be controlled with the separately available Sidus Four 4-Universe CRMX Transmitter.

Can I use standard Bowens S mount accessories with this?

No, this monolight features a Mini Bowens ProLock mount. You will need the Aputure Mini ProLock to Bowens Mount Adapter in order to use Bowens S mount accessories with this LED.
