Are there any travel restrictions on this kit that I should be concerned about?

The FAA have changed their guidelines dealing with rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs. If the TSA finds batteries that are not in compliance with their rules when they inspect your baggage, they’ll discard them, and we’ll charge you for the missing equipment. Consider shipping the battery ahead to a FedEx store if you’ll be traveling to your shoot location.

This stuff looks pretty big and heavy. Are there any items that will help me lighten the load?

Well, there isn’t any magic we can use to make these lighter, but we rent a few carts and hand trucks to help out on your production set. Make sure and check out the Magliner Two-Wheel Folding Straight Frame Hand Truck, the Inovativ Voyager 36 EVO Equipment Cart, and the MultiCart RocknRoller R12RT All-Terrain Equipment Cart. These are all items we’ve found invaluable on our own personal productions, and we highly recommend them to customers as well.

Do you rent this kit with a V-Mount battery plate?

Yes, but it is not a 26V system. Check out the ARRI SkyPanel S30-C LED V-Mount 2-Light Location Kit if you prefer v-mount power.

Will this kit work with batteries other than Anton Bauer Dionic 26V Gold Mount Plus batteries?

No. It includes a battery plate that is only compatible with 26V Dionic Gold Mount Plus batteries.
