The Blackmagic Design’s Cinema Camera EF Mount is one of Blackmagic’s original cinema cameras. If you’d like a newer cinema camera with improved resolution, we recommend the BMPCC6K. Key features include:

Pro-Level Features. The Blackmagic Cinema Camera brings pro-level features to filmmakers at an unheard-of price point. Recording to a 2.5K image sensor, the camera is capable of recording 12-bit RAW DNG, ProRes, and DNxHD formats to built-in removable SSD drives (not included) while delivering thirteen stops of dynamic range.

High-Quality Build. The camera is housed in an elegant, minimalist enclosure, crafted from a single block of aluminum. It can be used hand-held or mounted on industry-standard hardware. Its lens mount accepts Canon EF, Zeiss ZE, and other third-party EF-mount lenses, and its active mount gives you electronic control over compatible lenses.
