Remus lenses preserve a lot of the characteristics of 2x anamorphic lenses, including oval bokeh, 3D-like effects, shallow depth of field, and flaring, but the lower factor allows these lenses to be both smaller and lighter. When paired with a full frame camera, a 1.5x 100mm provides a spherical equivalent/horizontal focal length of around 67mm.
