The Canon EOS C400 RF and 24-105mm f/2.8L Power Zoom Starter Kit includes:

Canon EOS C400 6K Cinema Camera. The Canon EOS C400 6K is a compact, full-frame digital cinema camera that includes a versatile range of imaging tools, cine and broadcast features, and functions built for solo shooters. Key features include:

• 6K full-frame back-illuminated CMOS sensor
• 6K60p, DCI 4K and 2K, and UHD 4K120p capture
• Full-frame, Super 35, and Super 16 modes
• Triple-base ISO and improved dual-pixel autofocus

Precise Zoom Control. The Canon PZ-E2 power zoom adapter is designed specifically for the Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z, that is included in this kit and provides precision zoom control.

Fast, Versatile Midrange Zoom. The Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z is a fast, versatile midrange zoom for Canon RF-mount mirrorless cameras like the C400. Key features include:

• Great for portraiture, events, photojournalism, and video
• 5.5 stops of optical image stabilization
• Fast, quiet, and accurate Nano USM autofocus system
• Sharp, color-accurate rendering; weather-sealed build

Battery. The Canon BP-A60N battery physically stays aligned with Canon’s previous A-models of batteries, just with a couple additions for this N version: a higher 6400 mAh capacity and an additional power outlet to support the multi-accessory shoe on the Canon C400.

Dual Charging Solution. The Dolgin TC200-i charger offers two integrated battery plates that are compatible with both the A30 and A60 batteries, but also 3rd-party equivalents to those batteries! This unit sports an integrated LCD screen to check the percentage of the batteries, a USB port to charge mobile devices, and can fully charge a BP-A60 battery in just 5 hours.

High Sensitivity Audio. The MKH8060 has a higher sensitivity capsule than the tried-and-true Sennheiser MKH-416, making it more suitable for shoots requiring precise high frequency audio. The supercardioid capsule offers pinpoint directional pickup and reduces off-axis sound without coloration for clean, natural results.

Cable. The XLR cable included in this kit lets you plug a 3-pin XLR input into a mini-XLR port, like those found on the C400.

Q & A

Does the microphone require phantom power or batteries?

This microphone requires 48V phantom power and it does not have the option to be powered by internal batteries.

Does this rental include a windscreen?

This rental includes a standard foam windscreen. If you’re shooting outdoors or in locations with strong wind, we recommend renting the Rycote 12cm Softie Windscreen for Sennheiser MKH 8060.

Does this rental include the tape-measure hook?

By default, this rental doesn’t include the tape-measure hook. If you need it, please request it in the Special Instructions box during checking and we’ll include it with your order at no additional cost.
