The DJI Mavic 3 Classic with DJI RC Remote is a 3-axis gimbal drone and an updated version of its predecessor, the DJI Mavic 3. Key features include:
Automated shooting modes
Up to 46 minutes of flight time
Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance
4K slow motion at 120 fps
4K Hasselblad Camera. The DJI Mavic 3 Classic with DJI RC Remote is almost identical to its predecessor, with focus on the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) at the forefront. The result of Hasselblad’s many decades of experience, the HNCS starts from the pixel level of the sensor. Every pixel is calibrated with RGB color data being passed through an image processing algorithm and color processing mode while filming. The result is content containing precise and natural color reproduction, all without the need for color presets. The 3-axis gimbal camera is capable of 4K video at 60 fps, a maximum of 5.1K at 50 fps, and 4K slow-motion footage at 120 fps.
Return To Home & Obstacle Sensing. Take flight without fear of loss or unnecessary damage with the Mavic 3 Classic with built-in Return-To-Home (RTH) system. Once you’re up to your desired altitude, the drone’s advanced RTH system will automatically plot the optimal route back home. APAS 5.0 is utilized for all-direction sensing, giving this drone the ability to smoothly avoid objects in flight, and with the additional cruise control, your content will have less shaky video footage and more relaxing long-distance flying. For those time-lapse and long-exposure shots, the decimeter-level precision while hovering offers clear & concise shots.
46 Minutes of Flight. Under ideal conditions, the Mavic 3 is capable of 46 minutes of flight time, reaching speeds up to 42 mph as far as 9 miles line-of-sight away from the controller. That sounds great, but odds are, you won’t be shooting in ideal conditions. Be sure to keep the drone within eyesight at all times and away from obstacles like buildings for more peace of mind, and bring backup batteries with you, just in case. Fortunately, the advanced RTH features on the Mavic 3 will plan the best route back to its starting location and can do so once its battery is too low or it loses signal. Keep in mind the Mavic, like all drones, performs best in daylight and with minimal weather interference, so plan your shoot accordingly. Need any extra batteries? You can rent spares here.
RC-N1 Remote Included. You can’t operate the drone without a remote, and the included DJI RC-N1 remote controller is more than up to the job. This compact remote pairs with your smartphone and lets you use the phone’s display to view 1080p drone footage and telemetry in real time from up to 7.5 miles away. The remote supports most phones up to 7.1 inches wide and can accommodate micro-USB, Lighting, and USB Type-C connections.
Drone Bound to the Included Remote. By default, the drone will arrive bound to the controller that’s included with this rental, so you won’t be able to use your own remote. If you have any special requests regarding controller binding, please contact us.
