  • Does this rental include the DJI Ronin-S Multi-Camera Control Cable for Mini-USB?

    • This rental doesn’t include the DJI Ronin-S Multi-Camera Control Cable – Mini-USB, but it’s available as a separate rental item.

  • What is the maximum supported weight?

    • The Ronin-S can support camera & lens combos up to 7.9 pounds, but keep in mind that just because your gear is under weight does not mean it will balance well. If you have questions about specific cameras and lenses, please contact us.

  • Can I balance a BMPCC 4K/6K on this gimbal?

    • With the right combination of camera and lens, the included riser will technically allow you to balance the BMPCC4K but we wouldn’t call it an elegant solution. To properly accommodate the width of the camera, we recommend renting the LanParte Ronin-S Offset Plate for BMPCC4K and BMPCC6K.

    • Please note, this gimbal does not offer any camera controls for the BMPCC. If you have any questions regarding compatibility, contact us and a video tech will be happy to help you determine the best gimbal solution for your shoot.

  • Does the focus motor work with non-geared lenses?

    • Yes. We include two adjustable lens gears to allow this motor to control non-geared lenses.

  • What cameras can be controlled by the gimbal?

    • Select Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Nikon are supported. Check this list to make sure your preferred camera / lens combo is supported.

    • Please note, the Sony Camera control cable is not included in this rental but can be rented here.

  • What is the Ronin-S’s default password?

    • The default password is 12345678.

  • Do you include a lens support bracket with this rental?

    • Yes! A support bracket and support bracket screw are included with this rental.
