The DJI Zenmuse X4S Camera is a three-axis, gimbal-stabilized, 1-inch-sensor camera with an attached 24mm-equivalent lens. It is currently only compatible with Inspire 2 drones. Key features include:

Camera & Gimbal Only. The DJI Zenmuse X4S camera is a high-quality, miniature, 1-inch sensor camera system mounted on a three-axis gimbal. The camera is only compatible with Inspire 2 drones as of this writing and features an integrated 24mm-equivalent lens. You will need your own Inspire 2 to make use of the X4S camera, but we also rent a DJI Inspire 2 w/ Zenmuse X4S if you’d like to get both pieces from us.

High Efficiency Codecs. The X4S is capable of recording in DCI 4K resolution in an H.265 codec. H.265 is also available if you’re post production workflow calls for it.

Wide Dynamic Range. The X4S sensor reproduces 11.6 stops of dynamic range. This is pretty good for an all-in-one system, but if you think you’ll be doing a lot of coloring and exposure adjustments in post, you may want to step up to the X5S or X7 camera to enable recording in log gamma or for even more demanding projects, CinemaDNG RAW.
