Can this system be fueled through a power bank?

No, it is not recommended to use a power bank with this system.
The Cosmo system requires a 6 – 16V DC charging voltage or 6.8 – 8.4V NP-F battery voltage.

Are the Cosmo C2 and Cosmo C1 systems backward compatible?

No. They are only compatible within their respective systems.
