I'm recording to microSD cards, do I need a SD card adapter to use with the LaCie External SSD?

Yes, if you are transferring data direct from an microSD you will need a SD card adapter. All of our microSD card rentals come with an adapter. If you need one for use with your own microSD cards, please leave us a note at checkout requesting that we include an SD card adapter.

Will this SSD interface with my USB-C card reader?

This SSD won’t interface directly with USB-C card readers that have a built-in cable. It’ll only directly interface with card readers that have a USB-C output with a removable cable.
