The Nikon FT1 Mount Adapter allows you to use Nikon F-mount lenses on Nikon 1-series cameras. Key features include:

Broadens Your Lens Selection. The Nikon FT1 Mount Adapter lets you control autofocus, exposure, vibration reduction, and aperture on compatible lenses. This opens up the lens selection for the Nikon 1-series. Please keep in mind that the 1-series sensor has a 2.7x crop factor, so most lenses will become telephoto.

High-Quality Build. Both mounts are of metal construction, and the adapter has its own tripod mount to prevent stress on the camera’s mount.

Limitations. This adapter does have its limitations. Autofocus is limited to AF-S mode, so you won’t get continuous focus via AF-C. Additionally, you’ll only have access to the center focus point. You can’t use teleconverters, extension tubes, some vintage lenses, or the Nikon PC-E 24mm f/3.5 with this adapter. Please Note: The FT1 adapter provides autofocus and auto exposure with AF-S lenses only. Many of the Nikon D-lenses will work, but they won’t give you autofocus.
