The Nikon Z50 II is a compact, DX-format, Z-mount mirrorless camera with a feature set optimized for streamers, vloggers, and influencers. It boasts some significant upgrades over the prior Z50. Key features include:
20.9MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 processor
UHD 4K up to 60p, 10-bit 4:2:2
Improved AF borrowed from Z9 with 3D tracking
Dedicated Picture Control button with color presets
We include a 3-foot Thunderbolt 4 USB-C cable and USB-C Charger with the rental for in-camera charging..
If you prefer a traditional battery charger, we offer the MH-32 charger as a separate rental item!
On this camera, electronic stabilization (or e-VR) works in video mode only and is different from IBIS. With e-VR, the sensor itself does not move. Rather, the image is just zoomed in to provide a bit more of a stabilized look than not. This camera is not equipped with 5-stop nor 3/5-axis stabilization.
You can use any Z-mount lens with this camera, whether it’s crop frame (DX) or full frame (FX). Just remember there will be a crop factor of 1.5×. So a 50mm lens will have an equivalent field of view of a 75mm when paired with this camera.
Z-mount cameras are only natively compatible with Z-mount lenses, but you can use the Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter to use F-mount lenses with this camera.
