Video-Supporting LED. The B30 is equipped not only with a 500Ws flash but also with a 40W bi-color LED that’s 50% brighter than the B10X, making this monolight a much more effective tool when combining stills and video. Don’t need 500Ws? Check out the 250Ws B20, which otherwise boasts all the same features as this B30.

Battery Power. The included lithium-ion battery provides about 220 full-power flashes per charge, or up to thousands of flashes when you lower the power output. The battery attaches to the side of the strobe housing itself, making it easy to move around with. This strobe cannot be AC powered, so once the battery is depleted you’ll need to recharge or swap batteries before you can continue shooting.

It offers a secure grip to support the full range of Profoto modifiers.
