Centered around the RODE NTG4+ shotgun microphone and RODELink digital wireless audio system, our RODE NTG4+ Wireless Boompole Blimp Kit is a one-click, plug-and-record, handheld boom and wireless mic solution. Designed for capturing audio in the field, and from a distance, this kit includes a lightweight boompole with an integrated XLR cable, mic with modular BLIMP, a wireless RX and TX rated for up to 300’ of line-of-sight transmission, and all the battery power you’ll need to get started straight out of the box. Do I need batteries for the microphone?

No! The RODE NTG4+ features an internal battery rated for approximately 150 hours one a single charge.

Can I mount this on a stand?

This kit is designed for handheld use but can be easily adapted to a C-stand when paired with our Boom Pole Holder and Grip Head Kit, which is available as a separate rental.
