The dynamic capsule requires no phantom power and the built-in pop filter, pneumatic shock mount, and included foam windscreen help to keep your feed free from plosives and vibrations while handling.

Directional Polar Pattern. Unlike the Shure SM58, the Beta 58A features a supercardioid pickup pattern, which isolates your sound by rejecting unwanted noises on either side of the microphone rather than from behind. This pattern makes the Beta 58 a great option for multiple speaker or vocalist scenarios and reduces the tendency to produce feedback.

Rugged Design. The Beta 58A is made of die cast metal with a hardened steel mesh grill making is as durable as it is affordable.
