The Sound Devices A20-Mini Wireless Transmitter and Recorder is a pocket-sized recorder with 2.4 GHz Bluetooth control and 80 hours of internal storage. Key features include:

On-Talent Recording. The Sound Devices A20-Mini Wireless Transmitter and Recorder is a hands-free, high-quality mono audio solution that is perfect for bloggers, backpack journalists, and content creators on the go. Like the popular Tentacle Sync Track E, the A20-Mini allows for compact on-talent audio recording in a small discreet package.

Wireless App. You’ll have full remote control of the A20 Mini when using Sound Devices A20-Remote app for iOS or Android mobile devices. You have the ability to control RF transmit frequency/power, turn the Mini on/off, start/stop recording, mute the microphone, format the media, and more.

Mic Not Included. This wireless transmitter and recorder does not include a microphone. You’ll need a mic with a LEMO 3-pin connector. We rent the Countryman B3 Omni Lavalier Mic w/ LEMO 3-Pin to work with this bodypack.

Optional Timecode Support. This recorder features supercapacitor-powered timecode generation for 0.2 ppm accuracy. Please note you’ll need your own LEMO 5-pin to USB Type C or BNC to USB Type C cable to take advantage of this feature.

A10 Receiver Compatibility. The transmitter portion of this wireless transmitter and recorder works with the Sound Devices A10 system, but we do not rent a compatible wireless receiver for this body pack at this time. Please note that transmitters used in the United States cannot utilize the simultaneous record and transmit feature of this unit.

Internal Memory & Power. The A20-Mini lets you record directly to the internal 64GB drive for 80 hours of storage (32-bit floating) and uses the WAV file format for industry-standard audio quality and file compatibility. This unit can be powered via three AAA batteries or a single Sony NP-BX1 battery. No batteries or chargers are included with this rental.
