Rotating Tray. The Tiffen Multi Rota Tray Variable Neutral Density Kit’s single-geared rotating tray lets you simultaneously use and rotate the included geared 138mm circular polarizer filter and fixed 4 × 5.65-inch circular polarizer filter.

Three Filter-Effect Combinations. This kit gives you three filter-effect combinations. You can use the 138mm CP filter on its own, or you can add the fixed 4 × 5.65-inch CP filter for up to six stops of variable neutral density. Additionally, depending on the direction the tray and 4 × 5.65-inch CP filter are facing, it can also produce a warming / cooling effect.

Versatility. The 6mm ARRI R2-standard 4 × 5.65-inch tray is ideal for matte boxes without a rotating filter stage and cases in which a non-rotating stage requires a secondary rotating filter stage. The tray’s geared wheel gives you precision control either by hand or with a follow focus’s 0.8 MOD (32 pitch) gear wheel, and tray engravings allow easily recreate-able filtration.

Compatibility. The Multi Rota Tray is not compatible with all matte boxes. Currently our compatible matte boxes include the OConnor O-Box WM Matte Box (front drop-in filter stage), Wooden Camera UMB-1 Swing Away Matte Box and Wooden Camera UMB-1 Clamp On Matte Box.
