Arc-Shaped Design. The Westcott Eyelighter 3 (Silver/Black & Sunlight/White) lets you achieve pro-grade clamshell lighting with one light source. It has an arc-shaped design that matches the human eye’s curvature, giving you seamless catchlights without unflattering shapes or gaps.

Four Fabric Surfaces Included. This reflector includes two reversible silver/black and sunlight/white fabrics for achieving different looks. The silver fabric produces a specular light that fills in the shadows under subjects’ noses and chins while creating a defined highlight in their eyes. The white fabric creates a soft, subtle fill while retaining some shadows under your subjects’ chins and noses to give their faces some added dimension. Its eye highlights are more natural looking and comparatively subdued compared to the results you’ll get from the silver fabric. The sunlight fabric uses a mix of gold and silver material to produce a highly specular light that lends a warm glow to skin tones. It’s especially flattering on subjects with brown and green eyes. Finally, and somewhat anticlimactically, the black fabric serves to block light.

Easy Setup, Adjustment, and Breakdown. The Eyelighter 3’s frame has a secure quick-lock system with a push-and-release button designed for easy setup and breakdown. An included support spine mounts to standard light stands and boasts a 74° tilting range to give you control over the direction of your light. You can even use the Eyelighter 3 outdoors with natural light. Its aluminum frame keeps things lightweight while remaining plenty durable, and the whole deal collapses down to 33 inches for easy storage and transportation.
