While the FJ80 II outputs 80W of power, this improved version outputs 100W with a quicker recycle time of 0.01 to 1.6 seconds. This flash moves to AC/DC battery power with a USB-C charging option, and offers an increased 575 full-power flashes and 60 FPS of continuous shooting. Although the touchscreen display size has become slightly smaller due to the change in build, it still measures at a viewable 2-inches.

Compatibility Done Right. This speedlight is specifically crafted for use with Sony TTL cameras. With its integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver, you can use the FJ100 S on-camera as both a flash and transmitter. You can control FJ400 and FJ200, J400 strobes, FJ-XR receivers, and off-camera FJ100 and FJ80-series speedlights directly from the hot shoe. Additionally, when mounted off-camera, the FJ100 S acts as a client speedlight, and lets you trigger via an on-camera mounted FJ80, FJ-X2m, or FJ-X3 Wireless Trigger. The FJ100 S also offers enhanced wireless communication in high-interference locations like events and weddings.

Battery & Additional Features. Fueled by a rechargeable battery, this flash offers a quick 2.3-hour charging time and 575+ full-power flashes per charge with fast recycle time of 0.01 to 1.6 seconds. The flash head is an 100W round head speedlight with a functional, easy-to-use 2" LCD color touchscreen display. The FJ100 S Speedlight also offers a color temperature stability of 5500K across entire energy range and an energy-efficient LED modeling lamp with auto-adjust and independent output control.
