I/O For Days. Blackmagic Design ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD is a 3G/HD-SDI switcher featuring 40 inputs, each of which boasting features including a frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, format converter, and access to the built-in audio mixer. With 24 SDI outputs, this switcher supports 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16 window multiview, combining any number of SD or HD video inputs with previews, audio meters, labels, and more. This model can output four of these multiviews simultaneously. Each of the outputs can be independently configured for custom viewing options depending on your workflow. The Constellation HD even includes a USB webcam output for streaming.
Built-In DVE and Transitions. With the included DVE, you can customize graphics and picture-in-picture compositions in real time with borders, shadows, lighting, and more for a professional look even while livestreaming. The high-quality transitions allow you to seamlessly move from one input to another, and you can even preview the transition before switching it live. The 4 M/E model includes powerful processors that create a total of 12 DVE’s.
Built-In Media Pool. Using the ATEM Software Control, you can store 60 stills and 1200 frame animations inside the Constellation HD for instant playback via the media players without taking up one of the SDI inputs. The 4 M/E model can even store four video clips up to 1080p60!
Pro Audio Production. Each of the 40 inputs connects directly to a built-in Fairlight audio mixer, which features a 6-band EQ, compressor, limiter, noise gate, and expander on each input. This mixer supports up to 156 channels of audio, and even includes two additional 1/4" analog audio inputs and a BNC Stereo MADI input responsible for 32 of those audio channels.
