Convergent Design’s Odyssey7Q RAW Monitor and Recorder is an advanced follow-up to Convergent’s Gemini 4:4:4 RAW monitor/recorder. This version comes standard with the Canon C500 4K Raw option. Key features include:

High-Quality Monitoring. The Odyssey7Q features a 7.7-inch, 1280 × 800 LCD with a 3400:1 contrast ratio. It also has many advanced image-analysis tools, including Vectorscope, Waveform, RGB Parade, and extensive LUT support.

Super High-Quality Recording. Don’t like that crummy old 4:2:0 file? No problem! This recorder captures video at up to 60 fps in compressed (4:2:2), lossless (4:4:4:4), or uncompressed (4:4:4) formats.

C500 4K RAW. This version of the Odyssey7Q comes with the C500 4K RAW option already installed. When paired with the Canon EOS C500, you can record 4K RAW QHD/4K RAW 10-bit up to 60 fps.

Battery/AC Powered. This rental includes a Canon battery plate that allows the unit to be battery powered with the included Canon BP-975. This rental also includes an AC adapter for powering the unit via wall outlet.

Multiple SSDs Required. Most shooting modes require you to use two SSDs simultaneously. This rental doesn’t include any SSDs. The SSDs fill up quickly, so please be sure to rent enough.
