Our most feature-rich drone from both a flight and a picture-quality perspective, it’s not for beginners. This combo fantastically pairs RAW, M43 image quality with stabilization and safety feature...
Nah, in order to comply with the FAA ID rules, you will need to supply your own ID module.
You will need the ID module in order to fly this drone by the rules, but if you need more information, check out all of the guidelines DJI provides here.
This version of the Inspire 2 is intended for RAW / ProRes capture to DJI’s proprietary CINESSD format. We include a DJI CINESSD 960GB SSD with the rental. If you think you’ll need more, you can view some options under Recommended on the left-hand side of this page.
Please note that you must have a microSD memory card installed even if you’re recording to CineSSD. For that reason, we include one SanDisk UHS-1 microSDXC 32GB Extreme Plus U3 with the rental of this drone.
By default, the drone will arrive bound to the controller that’s included with this rental, so you won’t be able to use your own remote.
If you have any special requests regarding controller binding, please contact us.
We’ve had reports of issues with the new M1 Macs not mounting with this reader. If you have questions, please contact us.
No. This 960GB SSD requires the updated DJI CINESSD Station UG2 to be accessed by a Windows or Apple computer. The required reader is included with this rental.
Yes! We now offer the DJI Quick Release High-Altitude Propellers for Inspire 2. This set features a larger propeller pitch that gives your Inspire 2 drone more propulsion force in higher altitudes with thinner air.
When you rent a second remote alongside an Inspire 2 drone package, you have the option to enable Dual Operator Mode. With one remote controlling the drone and the other remote controlling the gimbal and camera, this mode allows for finer control of flight-path and camera movement using a primary-and-secondary configuration.
DJI Inspire 2 Premium Combo w/ Zenmuse X7 does not include a lens. However, we do have them available for rent separately. See Compatible Lenses list on the left-hand side of this page.
Firmware can be updated through an internet-connected computer using the supplied USB Male A by USB Male A cable. Firmware can also be updated through the app on an internet connected phone, or tablet, using the mobile device’s USB charger cable (not supplied).
We’ll update firmware as the equipment moves through our building. However, as drone firmware is updated on an almost daily basis, the user must ensure the firmware is current before flight. Without up-to-date firmware, drone functionality could be limited. Access to the internet is required to update drone firmware.
The mobile device holder can fit up to an iPad Air sized device (no more than 6.69 in. tall).
No. The Inspire 2 is currently only compatible with X4S, X5S, & X7 cameras.
Yes. The Inspire 2 can’t fly with a battery pair that has a charge discrepancy greater than 13%. For best performance, you should sync batteries as pairs in the app before flying or charging. In some cases, you may need to update the firmware to successfully sync a battery pair.
If you’d like labels to indicate your battery pairs, please request them in the Special Instructions box during checkout.
