What’s Changed? The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P Smartphone Gimbal brings major improvements to its predecessor, the Osmo Mobile 6. Most notably, the OM 7P provides you with the Multifunctional Module that supplies intelligent subject tracking, integration with your phone’s native camera or a third-party streaming app, DJI Mic Mini reception, and a built-in fill light that can be adjusted with the integrated side wheel. On stable, flat surfaces with little to no wind, you can utilize the built-in tripod and extension rod for capturing flexible and convenient footage. Set-ups and shut-downs are an absolute breeze— the gimbal folds and unfolds in a single motion and the updated and enhanced magnetic phone clamp now provides a more secure connection, even for larger phones (in their cases, too!).

A Home Fit For A Smartphone. You can mount any smartphone up to 3.3-inches wide in its phone cradle, and the magnetic phone holder allows for simple and fast mounting and unmounting. The integrated intelligent sensor even tells you when your smartphone is mounted. Once your smartphone is connected, you can use the extension rod to stretch the gimbal out to 8.5-inches for a higher reach.

Built-In-Battery Power. The built-in battery runtime is approximately 10 hours, and it takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge using the included USB Type-C cable.

App Compatibility The DJI Mimo app connects via Bluetooth 5 to provide multiple shooting modes and functions, including Sport, Portrait, Underslung, Landscape, Time-Lapse, Motion-Lapse, Hyperlapse, Panorama, Slow-Motion, Inception-style spin (SpinShot), and a Sport mode for fast-action shooting. In addition to using the joystick controls on the handle, you can also use hand gestures to control the gimbal to track your movement, take a selfie, or start/stop your smartphone camera, so you don’t have to press the record button or touch any controls.
