We carry a variety of the KeyMission-compatible mounts that you may be interested in renting, as this camera has limited use without them.

Is it easy to set up this camera to work with my iOS device?

Setting up this camera to work with an iOS device is a multi-step process. You’ll definitely need to reference Nikon’s Wi-Fi Setup Guide for iOS.

Does this rental include a memory card?

This rental doesn’t include a memory card. To use this camera, you need a microSD memory card. We recommend Speed Class U3 cards, and we offer several compatible memory cards for rent.

Does this rental include the adhesive base mounts, paper manual, or underwater lens protectors?

This rental doesn’t include the adhesive base mounts, paper manual, or underwater lens protectors. If you need any of these accessories with your order, please request them in the Special Instructions box during checkout. We send them on a first-come, first-served basis.

Does this camera require a smartphone?

The camera has no screen of its own, so it requires the use of Nikon’s SnapBridge 360/170 app on a compatible iOS/Android smartphone.

Does this camera produce professional-quality images?

Keep in mind that 360º/VR video capture is still in its infancy. If you expect professional image quality, you’ll be disappointed. If you want to be on the cutting-edge of technology to semi-impress your friends or kids, you might appreciate what the KeyMission 360 offers.

Are there any known issues with the SnapBridge app?

Customers have reported functionality issues with the SnapBridge App. Performance and reliability can vary among different phone models. Since the app is the primary method for controlling this device, we must stress that this is a use-at-your-own-risk situation.

What is the default WiFi password for connecting to my phone/tablet?
