Q & A

Will this rental include any 3.5mm or sync cables?

No. This rental only includes the transceiver.
We have the PocketWizard 3.5mm Sync Cable and PocketWizard Locking PC to 3.5mm Sync Cable available for rent, and a large inventory of 3.5mm shutter release cables you can browse through in the Recommended section of your screen!

How do I change the firmware protocol?

1. Turn on the PlusXe
2. Set the dial to Channel 4 and press Test
3. Change the dial to Channel 3 and press Test
4. Change the dial to Channel 2 and press Test
5. Change the dial to Channel 1 and press Test
6. Turn the PlusXe off then on again and the firmware will be set.
When powered on, the radio will blink one bold GREEN blink for Legacy or RED, GREEN, RED, GREEN for E Release.

How do I know which cables I will need?

You can always check out PocketWizard’s Cable Finder to ensure you are renting the correct cables for your setup.

Do I need anything else?

Yes. To operate this device, you will need two AA batteries that will not be included with this rental.
We recommend the Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA Ni-MH 2550mAh 4-pack and the Nitecore New i4 Intellicharger.
