V-RAPTOR XE. The V-RAPTOR XE 8K VV from RED delivers the global shutter and compact design of the V-RAPTOR X, while focusing on the core features essential to modern filmmaking. Built on RED’s DSMC3 platform, the XE provides a large-format VV sensor in a lightweight 4-pound body, capturing 8K video in up to 60 fps with 17+ stops of dynamic range. Balancing high-end performance with class-leading value, the XE omits advanced Global Vision features like Phantom Track and Extended Highlights, but retains the same image quality, workflow flexibility, and robust connectivity that define RED’s V-RAPTOR line. This unit comes with a reinforced, locking Nikon Z lens mount for use with a wide range of Z mounted lenses. Fret not if you’re an ARRI-PL fan, you can just use the RED Z to PL adapter.
Micro V-Lock for V-RAPTOR. Power your V-RAPTOR and connected DSMC3 accessories with the RED V-RAPTOR tactical top plate and micro V-Lock adapter. Accepting V-Mount batteries, this top plate and adapter combo secures to the top and back of your V-RAPTOR camera with ease using the included RED Sidewinder multitool.
Side Ribs. The RED side ribs for V-RAPTOR consists of a pair of sturdy aluminum brackets designed to accept RED accessories rather than having accessories attached directly to the V-RAPTOR brain. Each rib is equipped with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads alongside one standard rosette per rib, creating the ultimate mounting expansion for the camera.
Complete QR-Plate Release System. The RED V-RAPTOR quick release platform is a durable and lightweight QR-plate release system that lets you mount and balance the V-RAPTOR on a tripod.
Top Handle. The RED V-RAPTOR top handle is a compact, ergonomic handle that makes it easy to carry the camera. The top and sides of the handle have multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting points with anti-twist divots. There’s even a mounting point with anti-twist divots on the front of the handle! A built-in run/stop trigger automatically connects when you secure the top handle to your camera and there is a nice wood inlay for comfort and temperature stability.
Monitor for RED DSMC3. The DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" LCD offers an HD viewing experience for recording and viewing footage on the V-RAPTOR camera system. The 1920 × 1200 resolution, high pixel density display panel not only provides the optimal experience when viewing footage but also features 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut coverage for tremendous color accuracy.
Card Reader. The RED PRO CFexpress v4 Type B card reader is a compact reader designed to quickly deliver data from your RED CFexpress v4 Type B memory cards. This reader connects to your host system through its integrated 12.6" USB-C cable and features a 40Gbps USB4 interface that ensures a streamlined data offloading experience.
Official RED CFexpress v4 Type-B Media. The RED PRO 2TB CFexpress v4 Type B memory card was designed by Angelbird in partnership with RED for use with the KOMODO and V-RAPTOR systems. There are two memory cards included in this package.
Compact RED Power. With 12A of peak power load, the 98Wh/14.4V REDVOLT battery will power the V-RAPTOR XE for up to 1.5 hours (settings depending). This package includes two batteries.
Dual Charging Solution. The RED compact dual V-Mount battery charger will fully charge up to two REDVOLT Micro V-Mount batteries in under five hours and has a convenient space-saving vertical orientation.
