Is this camera on Netflix's list of approved cameras?

Yes! As of Q1 2026, the Sony VENICE 6K appears on the list of approved cameras for Netflix. We expect this list to be updated regularly.

Does this version of the Sony VENICE include any license upgrades?

This version of the Sony Venice ships with full frame and anamorphic license upgrades pre-installed, but it does not include the high frame rate license.

Are there compatibility issues with SxS media?

Yes. Only SxS Pro+ media is supported in the Sony Venice.

Where's the E-mount?

The E-mount is found under the PL-mount adapter. Remove the six 2.5mm screws holding on the PL-mount to reveal the E-mount. An E-mount body cap is included for covering the sensor when the PL-mount is not installed.
