THIS BATTERY DOES NOT COME WITH A CHARGER!
If the Predator-style shell looks familiar, it should. The Digital 90 V-Mount has all of the same features of the Gold Mount version, just with the V-mount connector type. Key features include:
- New Familiar Style. The Digital 90 V-Mount utilizes an enlarged honeycomb interior to improve airflow and heat dissipation. This not only makes it more reliable while extending its lifespan, it also prevents a single faulty cell from causing the remaining to become unstable. It has a thermal cutoff that triggers the battery to shut down if it gets too hot or cold, an algorithm to prevent power surges often referred to as “ringing,” and improved capacity estimation. And there’s a built-in D-tap for all of your accessory needs.
- 10A Continuous Load. This 14.4V, 93Wh battery offers 10 amps of continuous power load, making it stable for power-hungry cine cameras that require a constant minimum. Additionally, it’s output is perfectly suited for V-Mount-accepting LED lighting.
- In order to provide you with maximum flexibility, batteries, chargers, and mounting plates are all ordered separately. This way if you want 4 batteries but only one charger (and if you weren’t aware, the AB intelligent chargers are more expensive than the batteries) you don’t have to pay for 4 chargers too. If your camera accepts V-Mount batteries directly, you don’t have to pay for an adapter plate. If you order just a battery, we will understand that you already have an appropriate Anton Bauer V-mount charger and just need an extra battery.
- Only compatible with the Anton Bauer Performance Dual V-Mount Charger.
This battery is not compatible with the Sony F55 and F5. The communication between the camera and battery will intermittently drop out causing an interruption in recording.
The FAA have changed their guidelines dealing with rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs. If during baggage inspection the TSA finds batteries that are not in compliance with their rules, they will discard them, and we will charge you for the missing equipment. Consider shipping ahead to a FedEx store if you will be traveling to your shoot location.
