The Atomos Ninja V+ 5.2" HDMI Recorder w/ AtomX CAST Switcher is a kit featuring the Atomos Ninja V+ 5.2" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor and Atomos AtomX CAST for Ninja V & Ninja V+. This kit offers a compact 5.2" recording monitor that allows you to easily ingest, record, view, & stream up to four 1080/60p sources as a USB webcam with the AtomX CAST. The bright, daylight-viewable LCD panel with touchscreen controls and 1920×1080, 427 ppi resolution provide super crisp images on the 5" display, while the 10-bit bit depth renders rich, accurate colors.

Can I use Sandisk Ultra 3D SSDs with this recorder?

While the drive physically fits, we’ve observed recording issues with the Sandisk Ultra 3D SSD drives on this model of recorder. See the recommended section for compatible SSDs.

Does this rental include an AC adapter?

No, this rental will not include an AC adapter. We recommend grabbing the ZILR 65W GaN 3-Port USB Type-C AC Wall Charger with your order.

Does this rental include HDMI cables?

This rental doesn’t include any cables but you can find our cables, available a separate rental items, here. If you’re unsure about which cord is right for your application, please contact us for verification.

Does this rental include an SSD?

Does this rental include batteries and a charger?

Does this rental include mounting hardware?

No. Since everyone’s mounting needs differ, we decided to make mounting a la carte. We have a wide variety of support gear to choose from, including monitor arms.

Are there any stipulations to RAW 8K/30p or 4K/120p recording?

RAW recording is highly dependent on specified cameras, cables, and SSDs. If you have any questions about compatibility between this recorder and a specific camera model, contact us and a tech will be happy to help you determine the best gear for your shoot.
