Q & A

Are there any recording limitations with using SD memory?

RAW HD and 4K/30p ProRes can be recorded to UHS-II SD memory cards. You can find a list of manufacturer-recommended SD cards and formats they support here.
If you’re looking to record in higher resolutions and frame rates, you’ll need to use CFast 2.0 memory cards. You can find a list of manufacturer-recommended CFast 2.0 cards and formats they support here.

Can I mount this camera to a tripod?

You can, but you’ll need a VCT plate if you have the shoulder mount on it. We recommend the Sony VCT-14.

Will this camera record CinemaDNG?

No. As of the most recent firmware update, this camera will only record Blackmagic RAW, not CinemaDNG.

Does this package include everything I need to start shooting?

You’ll need a PL mount lens.
This package was assembled to be your all-in-one solution for shooting on an URSA Mini Pro PL camera. There is no one-size-fits-all lens, so we are leaving that decision up to you. Compatible lenses are linked in the Description and Recommended list.

Does this rental include DaVinci Resolve?

Due to copyright, we can’t include DaVinci Resolve with rentals. You may download DaVinci Resolve for free here.
