Canon PD-E2 USB Power Adapter

The Canon PD-E2 USB Power Adapter, smaller and more powerful than the previous PD-E1 connects to the USB-C port of select Canon cameras to supply and facilitate power needs. Additionally, to free up the USB-C port, this adapter can be paired with the Canon DR-E6P DC Coupler. Please note all cameras need to be turned off in order to charge.

Can this adapter charge my camera with a battery grip attached?

For select cameras, yes! You can charged up to two batteries with a grip attached with the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, Canon EOS R6 Mark II, Canon EOS R5, and Canon EOS R6.
