Do I need to download any software to interface with the dock?

Yes. You’ll need the Codex Production Suite for Mac to access your files.
Please note that you’ll need to set up a free account thru Codex’s website before you can download the software.

Are there any specific system requirements to use the Capture Drive 2.0 Dock?

Yes. Currently, this system is only compatible with Mac computers and requires Mac OS X 10.9 or 10.10.

How many Capture Drives are included?

We’ve bundled a single 2TB drive with this rental. If you’ll be shooting longer, we also rent spare Codex CDX-37020 2TB PCIe Capture Drives.

Does this include V-mount batteries?

Since we send our C700 cameras with a V-mount battery and charger, we don’t bundle them with this product to help keep cost down. However, you can find compatible power solutions available for rent in the Recommended section on the left-hand side of this page.
