The GoPro MAX 360 action camera is GoPro’s second attempt at 360-degree video after the GoPro Fusion and is capable of spherical video capture up to 4992 × 2496 at 30 fps to one microSDXC memory card. Key features include:

What battery performance should I expect from this camera?

The GoPro MAX battery life varies based on frame rate, resolution, and other factors like use of Wi-Fi and operating temperatures, but generally you can expect approximately an hour of continuous use on a full charge.
In the Resources section on your screen, you’ll find a small chart with specific shooting times and frame rates labeled “Diagram”.
If you need additional batteries or a dual charger, they’re available as separate rental items.

Does this rental include the lens caps?

This rental doesn’t include the lens caps. We include a clear lens protector as well as a silicon cover for the clear protectors. If you’d like us to include the caps, please request it in the Special Instructions box during checkout.

Is this camera waterproof?

GoPro states that this camera is waterproof to 16 feet, but double check that battery and card access doors are completely latched before immersing in water.

Will I need anything else?

Yes! At the least you’ll need a microSD card 128GB or less in size.
