The Panasonic AG-CX350 4K is a professional-grade UHD 4K video camera with a wide class zoom range. Key features include:

NDI HX Supported. With the pre-installed NDI HX license from NewTek, this version of the CX350 can transmit live video over IP to any NDI-compatible hardware or software. The NDI implementation on this camera provides video, audio, camera control, and tally over one Ethernet cable. Camera control may vary depending on the hardware or software used. 4K MOS Sensor. The Panasonic AG-CX350 uses a single 1"-type, 15 megapixel MOS sensor for recording high-quality images in 4K/HDR. We strongly recommend using V90 memory cards for 4K capture.

Integrated Zoom Lens. This camera features a fixed lens with an impressive 20x optical zoom. If you need more range, the intelligent zoom enables an additional 24x in UHD or 32x in HD without degrading your image quality. Thanks to the 5-axis hybrid image stabilization, you don’t need to worry about extra support for those longer throws.

Recording Range. The AG-CX350 gives you a wide range of compression options, including AVC-Ultra formats, commonly found in popular P2 ENG-style cameras like the Panasonic AJ-PX270, and HEVC 100Mbps for 4K60p. Unlimited relay recording with dual SD slots allows you to capture all standard frame rates up to 4:2:2 10-bit in UHD or HD and VFR UHD from 1 to 60 fps or FHD from 1 to 120 fps without cropping.

Hybrid-Log Gamma. This camera’s Hybrid-Log Gamma feature means that your footage will look remarkable on HDR and standard televisions without requiring additional color correction. A total of eight different gamma modes ensure versatility and creative control for any setting.

Additional Features. This camera boasts a large 3.2-inch 1.62m-dot LCD touchscreen that lets you control a range of functions, while the high-resolution, 2.36m-dot viewfinder makes shot composition simple. The ND filter system offers Clear, 1/4ND, 1/16ND, and 1/64ND presets as well as a built-in IR cut filter. I/O support like four-channel audio, simultaneous SDI and HDMI out, and LANC compatibility makes this a go-to for shooters in the field or in the studio.

Q & A

Do I need specific media for 4K recording?

Yes. For 4K recording, Panasonic recommends SDXC cards with a V60 minimum rating with 128GB or larger capacity.

Does this camera support genlock?

This camera supports TC In/Out but does not feature genlock. A sync device is recommended for shoots where time code accuracy is vital. We offer the Tentacle Sync E Timecode Generator with Bluetooth, Ambient ACL 204 Lockit Sync Box, and Denecke TS-C Compact Time Code Slate as separate rental items.

Can this camera output 4K?

This camera can only output 4K UHD through the HDMI Out. The SDI Out is limited to a FHD signal.
