The SmallHD Focus Bolt 500 RX Wireless Monitor is a version of the original Focus monitor with a built-in Teradek Bolt 500 RX for receiving wireless video to compatible devices. Key features include:

4K Update Available. This monitor is only compatible with select legacy transmitters and will not work with any Bolt 4K devices. If you are looking for a monitor receiver for the Bolt 4K wireless system, we recommend renting the SmallHD INDIE 7 w/ Bolt 4K 750 Receiver in Gold or V-Mount or the daylight viewable SmallHD 702 Touch w/ Bolt 4K 750 Receiver in Gold or V-Mount.

Same Focus Monitor. New Internal Wireless Receiver. The SmallHD Focus Bolt 500 RX Wireless Monitor builds on the very popular SmallHD Focus monitor by finding room in the housing for a Teradek Bolt 500 receiver that allows for up to a reported 500ft of wireless video transmission. This package does not include a wireless transmitter, but you can rent the SmallHD Focus Bolt 500 TX On-Camera Monitor for an on-camera monitor/transmitter combo. Alternately, we do also rent full Teradek Bolt 500 / Bolt 500 XT wireless kits that include the TX unit.

Side Grips & Neck Strap. This kit is built as a director’s monitor and comes with contoured side handles and a neck strap to redistribute weight from your arms and prevent fatigue.

Bright Touchscreen. The SmallHD Focus Bolt 500 RX Wireless Monitor’s bright, 800 cd/m² touchscreen 1280 × 720 IPS LCD is viewable even in daylight, and attaching the included sun hood makes daylight viewing even better.

Swipe OS Interface. The new Swipe OS system gives you graphical user interface (GUI) intuitiveness with touchscreen navigation. It lets you use the touchscreen to apply monitoring tools like waveform and vectorscope to twelve different “pages,” swipe through different preset pages, and adjust settings, saving you from endless menu diving. The monitor’s OS also allows for 3D LUTs to be applied for real-time viewing.

Camera Setup Integration. The FOCUS’s headphone jack and power output make it perfect for use with smaller cameras. If your camera doesn’t have a headphone jack, this monitor can give you real-time audio playback. Using a separately available power adapter cable, you can increase run-times by powering your camera directly from the included Hawk-Woods DV-F590 L-Series Battery that’s mounted on the monitor. HDMI Compatibility. Do note that the SmallHD Focus requires a microHDMI cable with a somewhat custom-sized plug. We carry separately rentable versions of the required cable in Micro-Male, Micro-Mini and Micro-Micro configurations.
